I’ve already published a couple of cheese cookie recipes, but I can’t help but share another one. The cookies are delicious, perfect for a glass of wine, and tea or coffee will also be good!
Put the grated cheese, butter, flour, salt and pepper in the bowl of a food processor (knife attachment).
Turn on the combine and mix until smooth (~ 15-20 seconds).
Make a ball of dough with your hands.
Then divide it into two equal parts, forming them into cylinders (4 cm in diameter).
Wrap the cylinders in parchment or plastic wrap and put them in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours (preferably overnight).
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cover the baking sheet with parchment.
Take the dough out of the refrigerator and cut it into 0.5 cm thick circles. Spread them out on a baking sheet.
Brush the cookies with beaten egg.
Then put a nut on each circle and lightly press on it.
Bake for ~15 minutes.
Allow the finished liver to cool for 5 minutes, then transfer it to a dish. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Pour the wine into glasses and serve cookies with it.
Enjoy your meal!
