  1. Wash the hearts, if necessary, remove all excess. Grate the parmesan on a coarse grater.
  2. Put the hearts in the bowl of the slow cooker and set the “Frying” mode for 30 minutes.
  3. Cut the onion into quarters and add to the chicken hearts, mix, season with salt and pepper. During cooking, stir a few hearts so that they are browned on all sides.
  4. Preparing the sauce. Mix yogurt with melted cheese, add garlic, crushed in a press.
  5. 3/4 cup of rice pour 1.5 cups of water (proportion 1:2) and put it on high heat. After the water boils, reduce the heat, cover and cook for 15 minutes until the rice has absorbed all the water.
  6. After 30 minutes, add the sauce to the hearts with onions and mix.
  7. We put the finished rice on a plate, put the hearts on top and pour the sauce over it. In principle, at this stage you can already enjoy tender hearts in combination with amazing rice, but I went further.
  8. Put the rice and hearts in heatproof plates, sprinkle grated parmesan on top and put it in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, for 10 minutes. As a result, a wonderful cheese crust was formed, and under it tender hearts with fragrant rice!
