Cold Barberry Tea with Black Currant Recipe
Delicious, fresh, a good alternative to sweet high-calorie juices or soda in the heat. I took black tea with barberry as the basis of the tea, but you can take any fruit, berry or flower. I’m sure it will be very tasty with a rose or rosehip.

Instructions
  1. I had frozen cranberries, but you can, of course, take fresh ones.
  2. Fill the cranberries and apple with water, bring to a boil and turn off.
  3. I had tea like this, with barberry. Brew 5 sachets in hot cranberry compote (2-3 minutes) and leave to infuse for 15 minutes, cool slightly.
  4. Meanwhile, rub the black currant with sugar well with a pestle. The amount of berries and sugar in a ratio of 1:1, for sweetness, look at your taste when added to tea, for example, I do not like very sweet.
  5. Filter the tea from the cranberries.
  6. Add currants with sugar, cool and serve. Of course, it’s better with a sprig of mint and make a sugar border. Do not forget to put a glass of tea in the freezer for a few minutes so that when serving the drink, its walls are covered with refreshing frost!
