  1. First you need to prepare the dough, and for this we will start with the starter. In 200 ml of warm milk, add 7 grams of dry yeast, a tablespoon of sugar, a pinch of salt and about 70 grams of flour. Mix everything thoroughly and leave it in a warm place for 40 minutes so that the yeast activates and the sourdough rises.
  2. After the sourdough rises, you need to add two eggs, 100 grams of butter, sugar to taste, I add a little, since sugar will still be added to the buns, and 430 grams of flour. Next, knead the dough and leave in a warm place to rise for an hour.
  3. In the meantime, let’s get busy with apples. They need to be cleaned, cut into small cubes, add sugar, mix well with apples. Add butter to a preheated frying pan and send caramelized apples with sugar, also add cinnamon and ginger to taste. The filling for the buns is ready.
  4. The dough has come up, and it’s time to bake buns. Roll out the dough into a layer, not very thin. Spread the sweet apple filling evenly.
  5. Twist into a roll and cut into rolls 4-5 cm wide .
  6. Transfer the workpiece to a baking sheet and leave for proofing for 20 minutes. Place the buns in a preheated 200 degree oven for 20-25 minutes.
