Cookies with a very pronounced taste and aroma of peanuts. Peanut paste and ground hazelnuts are added to the dough. Sprinkle the cookies with ground almonds and whole pine nuts. It’s crumbly and delicious.
In one bowl, mix the dry ingredients –
flour, sugar, hazelnuts, baking powder and salt.
In another container, whisk the softened butter
and peanut butter.
Transfer the creamy
mass to the dry mixture and mix well with your hands. The dense
dough did not stick to my hands. Roll
up walnut-sized balls. The thickness
of the dough can be adjusted with oil and paste
or flour, if it is too liquid.
Flatten each ball in the palms of your hands and
place it on a baking sheet covered with parchment.
Pour ground almonds and whole
pine nuts on top. You can sprinkle
any nuts on the cookies.
Put the cookies to bake in
a preheated 180 degree oven and bake for 15 minutes.
You need to make sure that the cookies do not burn.
After 15 minutes, it will become soft,
harden and become crumbly when cooled.
