  1. How to prepare boiled-frozen shrimp? Gather all the necessary ingredients. The shrimp should be of uniform size and whole, with a thin ice coating. Typically, store-bought shrimp are already pre-boiled, which makes the cooking process faster.
  2. Take a saucepan and fill it with an appropriate amount of water. You’ll need at least 2 liters of water for every 1 kilogram of shrimp. Rinse the shrimp under warm water to remove any excess dirt, broken antennae, and ice.
  3. Place an umbrella of dried dill in the boiling water. Alternatively, you can use fresh dill, dill seeds, or omit it altogether based on your preference.
  4. Add a generous amount of salt – approximately 40-45 grams per 1 liter of water.
  5. Season the water with spices according to your taste. Cloves, black pepper, and allspice work well for this purpose.
  6. Once the water with spices is boiling, carefully place the prepared shrimp into the saucepan and bring it back to a boil.
  7. Boil the shrimp for 2-3 minutes. Shrimp meat is delicate, and overcooking can make it tough.
  8. To make peeling the shrimp easier, rinse them under cold water.
  9. Drizzle lemon juice over the cooked shrimp.
  10. Your delicious meal is ready to enjoy!
Recipe Notes

Since everyone’s taste preferences vary when it comes to saltiness, sweetness, bitterness, spiciness, acidity, and heat, it’s essential to season your food with spices and seasonings based on your personal preferences. If you’re trying a particular seasoning for the first time, be cautious, especially with spices like chili pepper, as they can be quite potent.

When it comes to cooking, it’s advisable to use filtered or bottled water that has a neutral taste. If you opt for tap water, be aware that it can impart an undesirable, distinctive flavor to your dish.
