Nut Pie with Curd Filling Recipe
Festive winter baking, in my opinion, is cottage cheese, nuts, dried fruits combined with butter dough. I suggest you try a nut pie with a delicate curd filling with dried apricots, prunes and dried cranberries. Delicious, aromatic, crumbly cake for cozy winter tea parties!

Instructions
  1. For the dough, cut the butter into small cubes and grind it into crumbs with sifted flour.
  2. Separate the white from the yolk; the white is needed to grease the cake. Add yolk, sugar and vanillin to the crumb.
  3. Chop the nuts in a blender or chop with a knife. Pour in the nuts, add soda and gradually pour in kefir.
  4. Knead the dough and roll it into a ball. You need just enough kefir so that the dough stops crumbling. Wrap the dough in foil and put it in the refrigerator.
  5. For the filling, cut dried apricots and prunes into small pieces. We mix cottage cheese, sugar, egg and dried fruits.
  6. Divide the dough into two unequal parts. We distribute most of it with our hands in shape, I took a round one with a diameter of 26 cm and make small sides. We spread the filling on the dough.
  7. From the remaining part, you can cut out figures and lay out on top. Roll out the entire dough layer will not work. I cut out small circles and pricked them with a fork, there were no more interesting molds at hand. Grease the top of the pie with slightly beaten egg whi
  8. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
  9. Bon appetit.
