Onion Caviar Recipe
Very tasty, quite budget-friendly, easy-to-prepare caviar. In winter, when there are not as many vegetables as in summer, this recipe will be very useful. Such caviar can be served as a snack for meat, pasta or potatoes. I like to eat this caviar just with bread. I hope you like this caviar option too.

Instructions
  1. Cut the onion into cubes, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Fry the onion in a small cauldron in preheated oil until transparent.
  2. Then add the carrots and fry, stirring, for a few more minutes.
  3. Add the peeled grated apple, bay leaf and salt and mix.
  4. Add water. Simmer, uncovered, over moderate heat, stirring occasionally, for about 40-50 minutes, until the liquid evaporates. Vegetables should become very soft and juicy. If the water boils off earlier, you can add a little. Cover the cauldron with a lid and leave to cool on the stove.
  5. Chop the finished caviar with a blender. Or you can not cut, the vegetables will be very well fried.
  6. Onion caviar is very tasty, simple and economical.
  7. And if you also eat such caviar with homemade bread, then it will be fine!
