Prepare a delicious poppy seed filling. Fill the poppy with water, rinse, drain excess water.
Pour the milk over the poppy seeds and cook over low heat until the liquid boils, stirring occasionally with a spoon.
Flip the poppy onto a fine sieve to drain the remaining milk.
Chop the poppy with a blender or meat grinder.
Mix the poppy seeds, sugar and butter.
Add finely chopped nuts.
Divide the puff-yeast dough into 10 parts weighing 50 grams each.
Assemble each part into a ball, cover with cellophane and leave in a warm place to melt, the dough should become soft and slightly increase in volume. It will be easy to roll out tortillas from this dough.
Roll out a thin tortilla and spread it with poppy seed filling. Cut the tortilla into strips 0.5 cm wide, but leave the edges uncut by about 0.5-0.7 cm. It is convenient to use a pizza knife.
Collapse, as in the photo.
The resulting roll is rolled up with a snail.
Place the pretzels on a baking sheet and place in a warm place for proofing.
Bake at a temperature of 180 g. about 30 minutes until cooked. Sprinkle the baked pretzels with powdered sugar. If the pretzels are packed and tied with a ribbon, you will get a delicious edible gift.
