I once cooked this salad for guests. It didn’t just crumble, it escaped from the table within 5 minutes and now friends, in advance, before coming to visit, ask me to cook it.

Ingredients

Potatoes

Instructions
Boil the potatoes in water (or cook in a steamer) in the peel until soft. Clear. Cut into small cubes.
Peel the onion. Cut into thin half rings.
Remove the herring’s head and tail. Clear. Gut it. Remove as many bones as possible. Fillet cut not large.
Mix potatoes, herring and onions in a salad bowl. Add to taste: aromatic vegetable oil, lemon juice, mustard, ground black pepper.
Mix.
