  1. Peel apples (4 pcs.), remove the core, cut into small cubes. Put the apple cubes in a dry frying pan, add 1 tablespoon of sugar and put on a slow fire so that the sugar dissolves and the liquid evaporates. Stir the apples periodically so that they do not burn.
  2. For toasted bread, cut off the top crust from all sides.
  3. Roll out the croutons in a thin layer (about 1.5-2 mm.)
  4. When the apples acquire the necessary softness, add a heat-resistant jam to taste. If you do not have a thermostable jam, you can take the usual one, but then you should add 1 tablespoon of starch.
  5. Put the fruit filling on the edge of the toast, then roll the toast into a tube.
  6. Place the toast tubes with fruit filling on a baking sheet covered with baking paper.
  7. Brush the tubes with beaten egg and sprinkle with chopped and fried almonds. Send the baking sheet to a preheated 180-190C oven and tint to the desired color.
  8. Sprinkle the finished tubes with powdered sugar and you can invite guests. Enjoy your tea!
