American-Style Torn Turkey Burger Recipe
In America, such a picnic dish as sandwiches or burgers with torn meat is very popular. Pork was originally used for cooking. It was stewed with spices for a long time until the meat was tender and soft and easily divided into fibers with forks. Recently, such Turkey sandwiches have become popular, since Turkey meat is more dietetic.

Instructions
  1. In a thick-walled pan, heat the oil and fry a piece of Turkey on all sides. Add the chopped onion, garlic, tomatoes, salt, sugar, smoked paprika and Cajun spice mixture to the Turkey. Tomatoes can be replaced with tomatoes in their own juice or ready-made tomato sauce, ketchup. A little about spices. Cajun (or Creole) spice mix is very popular in the American South, especially in Louisiana. Its composition is very variable and can vary from 5 to 12 ingredients. Here are two examples of the composition of this seasoning: First option (5 spices): 1 tsp – paprika 1 tsp – dry garlic 1 tsp – salt 3/4 tsp – hot pepper 1/2 tsp – black pepper The second option (8 spices), which is used in the recipe: 2 tsp – paprika 2 tsp – dry garlic 1 tsp – salt 1 tsp – black pepper 1 tsp – dry onion 1 tsp – Cayenne pepper 1 tsp – oregano 1 tsp – thyme
  2. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer with barely noticeable bubbling for 3-5 hours. This Turkey, by the way, can be cooked in a slow cooker on the “Stewing” or “Languishing” mode, also comes out great.
  3. Remove the Turkey from the sauce and use two forks to break it into fibers
  4. Pour in the sauce in which it was stewed. Add the amount of sauce at your discretion. The more sauce, the juicier the burgers. If you are going on a picnic in the country, then put the torn Turkey in a disposable container made of foil and warm it on the grill at the picnic.
  5. To make a Burger: cut a bun (or baguette), brown it on the grill, brush with mayonnaise, put slices of tomatoes, a couple of spoonfuls of torn Turkey, slices of pickles and a little arugula or other salad to your taste.
  6. In a completely dietary version, you can take a whole-grain bun, and replace the mayonnaise with yogurt sauce. These are a little unusual for us, but very tasty and quite dietary burgers you can try on a picnic!
  7. Bon appetit.
