Corn Pancakes with Garlic Mayonnaise Recipe
Pancakes made from corn flour, without adding any. The dough for pancakes is mixed with mayonnaise with the addition of garlic powder. Pancakes can be said to be snack bars. I made them with pieces of cod liver. You can eat with anything you want: sausage; meat; fish;… just without everything.

  1. In a bowl, pour warm water, stir in mayonnaise and garlic powder, using a hand whisk. Add the sugar, egg, combine and mix the corn flour with a spoon. I’ll make thick pancakes. The dough is not liquid, but it pours out well from the spout of the dish without any help. Let the dough stand for 15 minutes. Pour the oil. I use olive oil, it can be replaced with sunflower oil. This is to avoid greasing the pan when baking pancakes every time. The dough is thoroughly mixed with a whisk, it is ready for baking.
  2. Start baking pancakes. Pancakes will be plump and D~ 12-13 cm. Heat the pan well and pour the dough from the center of the pan as much as you want to bake a pancake. It will spread itself out flat, you will see. It is very convenient to have dishes for dough with a spout, then you will not need to use a ladle. Pancakes are baked on medium heat. When the pancake is browned and grabs, turn it over and fry until ready on the other side. Spread in a plate and smear with a piece of butter. From corn flour pancakes are obtained dry, oil will soften them. Even after removing each pancake on a plate, cover it with a cap. This amount of dough made 6 pieces of thick pancakes D~12 cm.
