  1. As you can see, the set of products is the simplest, which is sure to be found in any refrigerator… I have homemade buns, since I eat little and rarely bread, they were already pretty “podgulyavshie” and required immediate disposal. Sausage and cheese were also not the first freshness, this also needed to be urgently attached somewhere. You can take absolutely any sausage, you can replace it with some ready-made meat, but if You do not eat meat products for some reason, then you can safely stuff any vegetables into the bun! Adding spices or not is up to You, it’s not necessary, you can only add salt and it will also be delicious. But since we have a pizza-flavored bun, I took sausage, Italian herbs and dried Basil.
  2. First of all, take a bread knife, cut off the tops of the buns, carefully remove the crumb trying not to damage the sides and bottom, put the buns in a baking dish, put the sausage on the bottom of the buns, then put a tablespoon of ketchup on the sausage and spread evenly. It is advisable to take ketchup, not sauce – it gives less moisture and buns do not go limp. I took ketchup “Children’s”, it says that it is one hundred percent natural product, which of course I do not believe a gram, but this is for complacency… And I remember well how in the distant seventies on TV with delight, excitedly told about the bright future – such as the nineties and the beginning of the new Millennium, how the chemical industry will “fraternize” with the food industry, how this symbiosis will reach unprecedented heights and how oil (also one hundred percent natural product) will begin to produce a lot of delicious and healthy food, once and for all the problem with hunger on the whole planet will be solved… We waited for a bright future…, you look at the labels with the composition of ingredients with horror and shudder… I would like to slap the ears of those science fiction writers so that they “don’t croak”…
  3. Then in each bun on sausage with ketchup, break one egg, salt and, if desired, add your favorite spices. I have large buns, I also took large eggs, they fit without problems and there is still a lot of free space. If you have medium-sized buns, it is better to take small eggs so that they do not leak out, and if small, you can pour out one yolk.
  4. Grate the cheese on a fine grater, spread it on the side in a circle, leaving the yolk open, send the buns to the oven, preheated to 190 degrees. The baking time depends on the desired readiness of the yolk, I like it runny and kept it in the oven for 15 minutes, if you like it more browned, then 20 minutes will be enough. But it all depends on your oven, you need to keep an eye on it…
  5. My buns in 15 minutes – the yolk is liquid, the protein is perfectly baked with cheese. If desired, you can sprinkle finely chopped herbs on top and serve hot.
  6. Fragrant, hot, crunchy…
  7. Bon appetit.
