Fish Soup with Sorrel Recipe

  1. Cut the fish into small cubes. Sorrel cut into thin strips, beat with egg.
  2. In a saucepan with a thick bottom, lightly fry the onion and carrot in a small amount of vegetable oil. Add the potatoes, cut into small cubes, mix, leave on low heat for a couple of minutes. Pour the contents of the pan with broth (vegetable, chicken or just boiling water). Bring to a boil over high heat, reduce the heat to medium and cook for about 10 minutes until the potatoes are ready. Then add the fish to the pan, cook for about 5 minutes.
  3. Turn down the heat to maximum, add sorrel and finely chopped garlic. Then pour in the egg, stirring it in the broth with a fork or spoon to form a “cobweb”. Add salt to taste, sprinkle with herbs, remove from heat after boiling.
  4. When serving, pepper as desired.
  5. Let it brew a little. The soup is recommended to be served with sour cream. enjoy your meal!
