Pie with Lettuce and Ham “Autumn Waltz” Recipe
Delicious pie dough is somewhat reminiscent of shortbread, and using cheese in the composition turns out a little coffee color. Pizza lovers will appreciate it. The name of the pie came to mind, as lettuce leaves baked in the oven are very reminiscent of a herbarium.

Instructions
  1. Mix cold water with olive oil and salt. Whisk. Take the flour, add the whipped mixture and knead the dough. I have a large mold for this amount of dough (23d), so I decided to make the dough in a double portion. The prepared dough is wrapped in plastic wrap and sent to the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes. The result is these little balls.
  2. In the meantime, let’s prepare the filling. Wash, dry and chop the lettuce leaves.
  3. Cut the ham into strips.
  4. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
  5. Prepare the sauce: break the eggs, add a little black pepper to taste and whisk (I use a blender). Add sour cream and whisk again.
  6. Grease the baking dish with butter, cream, or margarine, and lay out the prepared dough. We make small sides (it was for the sides that we had to prepare the second portion of the dough.
  7. Place sliced ham, grated cheese and lettuce leaves on top of the dough. Everything is properly leveled and filled with the prepared filling. Place the pie in a preheated 180 gr. oven and bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Here is such a pie turned out. You can serve it hot so that the cheese stretches, and if you want, you can serve it cold, it’s easier to cut it cold. Enjoy your tea.
