It so happened that cabbage became my main side dish. I am constantly looking for recipes that will allow me to diversify cabbage dishes. Here is one of them. Cabbage turns out to be extremely tender, airy, and it is prepared simply and quickly.

  1. Chop the cabbage into thin strips, cut the onion into half rings, grate the carrots on a coarse grater. We send everything to a saucepan with vegetable oil, add spices, I have turmeric, cumin and ground black pepper, salt, add water, put on fire, cover with a lid and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Add tomato paste to taste. I like both with tomatoes and without them, but my husband liked cabbage with tomatoes more. Use spices to your liking.
  2. Divide the egg into yolks and whites. Whisk the protein with lemon juice.
  3. Add the yolk and whisk for another 30 seconds.
  4. Add the beaten egg to the cabbage.
  5. Stirring, cook for another minute until the egg hardens.
  6. Our cabbage is ready! You can eat it just like that, you can serve it as a side dish to meat.
