Buns with Apples, Streusel and Lemon Glaze Recipe

  1. Prepare the sourdough: in warm milk, dissolve the sugar and yeast. Let the yeast activate for 15 minutes. Melt the butter and let it cool. Sift the flour into the bowl of a mixer, add sugar, salt, egg, butter and sourdough. Knead the dough with a mixer for 5 minutes. (the dough is quite sticky, as it should be). Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and send it to a warm place for 1 hour. Put the dough on the table, dust it with flour and knead it well. Divide into 8 parts and roll up the buns.
  2. Cover the buns with a towel and send them to a warm place for 20 minutes. Prepare the Apple filling: cut the Apple into cubes and put it in a saucepan, add water, lemon juice, raisins, sugar and cinnamon. Simmer until the apples are soft. Unparliamentary. Make a recess in the center of each bun with a glass.
  3. Place the Apple filling in the center of each bun. Brush the edges of the buns with milk.
  4. Prepare the topping: RUB the flour, sugar and butter until crumbs form. Sprinkle the bread crumbs on the buns.
  5. Bake at 190*C approx. 15 min. Ready buns to cool. Prepare the icing: mix the powdered sugar and lemon juice thoroughly. Pour icing over the buns. Bon Appetit!
