  1. Pour boiling water over the raisins, strain after 2-3 minutes. Rinse and dry well. I always wash dried fruits to wash off most of the preservatives contained in them. But it is important then to wet the raisins well with a towel.
  2. Mix the raisins, sugar and yeast in a cup. It is always better to add raisins immediately. Otherwise, it will not be easy to stir the finished dough.
  3. Warm up the milk, check with your finger. In order not to make a mistake, heat half a cup of milk in the microwave and dilute. It should be barely warm, this is important. Pour into a cup, stir well so that no lumps of yeast remain.
  4. Add flour, mix a little. Add salt, vanilla sugar.
  5. Knead the dough. When there are no dry islands left, pour in the barely warm cooled butter.
  6. Mix it. At this stage, it may seem that there is a lot of oil. Don’t worry, that’s exactly how it should be in the test. Leave in a bowl for 20 minutes.
  7. Then knead the dough on the table, return to the bowl, cover with a towel. Leave it for an hour.
  8. The dough should rise almost three times. If it didn’t happen. knead again and leave for half an hour.
  9. Without kneading, put the dough on the table. Divide in half, then in half again. And cut each piece into three pieces. Thus, you will get 12 approximately identical pieces. Roll each ball, put it on a baking sheet. Cover with a towel and leave for 40 minutes.
  10. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Lubricate the rolls on all sides with the yolk in half with water.
  11. Bake for 10-14 minutes. Bake until they are well browned. When baking, the buns may stick together a little, this is normal. Sweet, deliciously fragrant.
  12. They are good for family afternoon tea. It goes well with a cranberry drink. Especially such a union will be appreciated by children.
