Fragrant Plum Cake Recipe
For me, the concepts of “autumn” and “plum pie” are closely related, because when else to bake these wonderful sweet pies, as not now! So I hasten to share another great recipe. The cake turns out wonderful – very fragrant, pleasant and, of course, delicious. Have time to try it!

  1. Soft butter beat a little with a mixer (until cream).
  2. Add a pinch of salt and brown sugar and beat everything together for another couple of minutes.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating for a minute after each addition.
  4. Pour in the vegetable oil (refined, of course) and mix the mixture with a mixer at medium speed. Add the orange zest. I have this time dry, but I recommend taking only fresh, it turns out much more fragrant. However, if the zest is not available, you can exclude it and do only with spices.
  5. Mix flour with baking powder and spices for baking (I have cloves, cardamom, nutmeg and cinnamon).
  6. Add the flour mixture to the liquid ingredients and mix quickly.
  7. Put the finished dough in a form (20×20 cm), covered with baking paper.
  8. Spread the plums on top, cut into halves (skin down). If desired, you can sprinkle the plums with brown sugar mixed with cinnamon. Bake the cake for 40 minutes in the oven, preheated to 180°C.
  9. Let the finished cake stand in the form of 15 minutes, then transfer to the grill and cool.
  10. The cake is not too beautiful, so you can sprinkle it with powdered sugar, it will be prettier)
