Instructions
  1. Choose potatoes of approximately the same size. Wash very well. Place in a mold with a thick bottom or in a baking tray with high edges. Add water. Cover with a lid and put on high heat. After boiling the water, reduce the heat to a minimum and leave the potatoes under the lid until cooked (about 15-20 minutes). Periodically check with a toothpick whether the potatoes are ready. If the potatoes are ready, and the water is still left, then open the lid, make the fire to the maximum and wait until the liquid completely evaporates.
  2. Finely chop the garlic and finely chop the onion.
  3. Cut the basil into arbitrary slices.
  4. When there is no liquid left in the pan, add the butter. Gently stir the potatoes and fry over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes, until golden brown.
  5. Add salt, onion and garlic. Stir several times.
  6. Add the basil and stir. Cover and remove from heat. Leave to infuse for about 5 minutes.
  7. When serving, you can sprinkle with fragrant or red pepper.
  8. I strongly recommend that you try to cook new potatoes according to this recipe. You’ll love it!! Enjoy your meal.
