Germany Beer Salad Recipe
A very easy-to-prepare hearty salad. It was on the menu of the Hans brewery, which my family and I visited this summer in our seaside capital Vladivostok. There is no beer in its composition, it is implied that it is served with beer.

  1. Pre-boil carrots, peel, cut into cubes. Smoked sausage and pickled cucumbers cut into thin strips.
  2. Add torn (or finely chopped) lettuce leaves and finely chopped parsley.
  3. Add canned beans (white or red), I usually had in tomato sauce.
  4. Mix mayonnaise with quail egg.
  5. Stir the salad.
  6. When serving, I used a serving ring.
  7. Cut rye bread into slices, add salt and dry in the oven. Sprinkle the salad with rye croutons.
