I recommend trying this wonderful delicacy, filled with sweetness, moisture and tartness of oranges. In addition to all of the above, dessert is prepared quickly.

Instructions
  1. The products for making gratin are in the picture. Preheat the oven to 210 degrees, let it warm up.
  2. Peel the oranges from the peel to the pulp, cutting off the skin with a white shell. Over a bowl or on a board with a drain chute, cut the oranges into thin circles. Juice to collect.
  3. In a deep fireproof bowl (frying pan), grind the yolks with white sugar. Add cream, orange juice, molasses. If the molasses turns out to be very thick, then before that mix it with orange juice, i.e. juice and molasses mix beforehand. Mix everything well.
  4. Sift the future starch into the dough, mix thoroughly again.
  5. The resulting mass is cooked over low heat, with constant stirring, for 3-5 minutes. The dough will thicken and look like custard.
  6. Distribute the mass in portions on the molds, it is ideal for serving. In my household, there were no suitable molds with a side height of 2-3 cm, I had to put them in one large one (d = 20 cm).
  7. Place the orange slices on top and bake for 10-15 minutes.
  8. That’s how I got it out of the oven. It is noticeable that the edges are baked harder, but this should not discourage you, in the original version, the folded edge should be even wider.
  9. Dessert can be served hot or chilled. I served it chilled. The taste is peculiar, but pleasant, delicate with a slight orange bitterness.
