Salad with smoked Mackerel Recipe

You can spread the salad in layers, watering each layer with dressing, you can mix everything in a large salad bowl. The layered version of the salad is preferable, it allows you to taste each ingredient, but it’s a matter of taste.

  1. I made half a serving. Boil the potatoes and thinly slice the onion. If the onion is too sharp, you can pour boiling water over it or lightly marinate it in a mixture of sugar, salt and vinegar. Boil the eggs and peel them. Remove the skin from the smoked mackerel and disassemble the flesh into pieces, removing all the bones.
  2. Cut the potatoes into medium cubes and put them on a dish in one layer. Put the onion on the potatoes. Put the mackerel on the onion. Spread the capers over the fish. Cut the eggs in half and spread on top. I added salt to the salad, there is enough of it in fish and capers.
  3. For the filling, put all the ingredients in a cup and mix well to get a homogeneous emulsion.
  4. Pour the dressing evenly over the salad and sprinkle with finely chopped dill.
  5. You can serve immediately, but it is better to let the salad brew for 1-2 hours.
