Veal on the Bone Recipe
Or rather, veal on the bone with vegetables, baked in foil. An independent dish is prepared immediately with a side dish, which takes less time and turns out tastier.

  1. Wash the meat, dry it with a paper towel, and remove the bones. Add salt, spices for meat. I usually use natural spices from dried herbs, a wide variety. Marinate, and in the meantime continue to cook.
  2. Peel carrots and onions, cut into half rings, carrots can be rings, cubes. Wash the leeks and also cut into rings. Cherry tomatoes can be taken fresh or frozen, the amount is about 4 pieces per serving, if desired, you can increase. Peel the garlic.
  3. Peel 16 medium potatoes (for 4 servings) and cut into cubes. Put all the vegetables and season with salt and pepper. Prepare 4 sheets of foil so that they fit and you can wrap vegetables and veal. Brush each piece with butter. Spread the vegetable mixture: potatoes, onions, leeks, tomatoes, carrots, put a clove of garlic, a sprig of rosemary and thyme on top.
  4. Fry the veal on both sides until golden brown in a preheated frying pan (in olive or sunflower oil).
  5. Spread on top of the vegetables and put a piece of butter. Wrap everything in foil and put it in a preheated 200 degree oven. After about 40-50 minutes, again focusing on the oven, we check the readiness (in my oven, it always turns out a different cooking time than indicated in the recipes).
  6. When the dish is ready, release it from the foil. Veal with side dish is ready!
