  1. First you need to boil the potatoes. You can boil it in a uniform and clean it, or you can immediately clean it and cook it in a microwave oven, as I did. I like this method better: firstly, there is no need to peel hot potatoes, and secondly, it cooks faster than on the stove. And it turns out that the potatoes are not watery, since you will need only 0.5 cups of water.
  2. Peel the onion. You will need a lot of onions: you will need only one onion for filling, and the rest for serving.
  3. Prepare minced meat, boiled potatoes and onions. Add one egg, salt and pepper. Mix everything well.
  4. From the finished minced meat, form small balls about the size of one tablespoon of minced meat. Put them in a suitable form and bake in the oven at a temperature of 190-200 * C until ready. It took me 35 minutes.
  5. While the wizards are cooking in the oven, let’s take care of the remaining onions. Cut it into thin half-rings or quarter-rings (as you prefer) and deep-fry it until a golden crust forms. If you sprinkle the onion with a pinch of sugar, it will become more ruddy and sweet.
  6. We put the finished onion on a paper towel so that the excess oil is absorbed.
  7. Remove the warlocks from the oven and serve, sprinkled with ruddy, crispy and sweet onions. Enjoy your meal!
