  1. Everything is done very simply and quickly. For the dough, quickly mix the softened butter with powdered sugar with a silicone spatula.
  2. Sift flour and vanilla into the resulting mass. Mix everything quickly with a spatula. It is not necessary to stir with your hands so that the oil does not melt from the heat of your hands. Get this dough out.
  3. Cover a small mold with parchment paper and spread the dough evenly with a spatula. I have a shape of 21×21 cm.
  4. Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Cool the cake slightly for 10-15 minutes.
  5. For the caramel layer, melt the butter in a frying pan with thick walls. Pour condensed milk into the same place. Condensed milk should be taken of good quality.
  6. Bring the condensed milk and butter to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly. As soon as the condensed milk boils, stir and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Dry the nuts in the oven and peel them.
  8. Mix the boiled condensed milk with nuts and pour it over the shortbread dough. Nuts can be taken any to taste. This time I have peanuts. You can cook it without nuts, then it will just be a soft caramel.
  9. Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 10-15 minutes. The caramel should be slightly browned. If you bake caramel, it will not be soft, but on the contrary it will look like nougat. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
  10. For the glaze, melt the chocolate with butter in any convenient way. I’m warming up the beans in the microwave. Pour the chocolate over the caramel layer. Refrigerate to stabilize the layers for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  11. Decorate according to your taste and desire! Cut into cakes with a sharp knife.
