The sticks turn out very tasty, crispy. The secret is that they are baked in the oven and turn out very low-fat. I like to cook them for children for breakfast and tea.
Cheese should be chosen in such a way that it does not stand out when pressed. I took the Edam cheese. It is so yellow, very beautiful, quite dense and affordable.
Sift the flour into a bowl, add salt and butter and knead with your hands.
Then add the cheese, grated on a fine grater (set aside 2 tablespoons), mix again.
This time with a spoon.
Add sugar and sour cream and knead the elastic dough.
Roll out the dough on a table sprinkled with flour into a rectangular layer of the same width as the sticks you plan to make. The thickness of the formation should be about 3-4 mm.
Lubricate the entire surface of the layer with lightly beaten egg white, sprinkle with grated cheese. Cut into strips, put them on a baking sheet covered with baking paper, or on a silicone mat.
Bake at 180 * C for 25 minutes until they are browned.
