  1. Chop the rice in any convenient way and leave to cool. Rice is better to take starchy varieties, cooked in a slow cooker.
  2. Then put a can of tuna in a bowl and mash with a fork.
  3. Add 2 cups of chilled rice to the tuna, beat in the egg, squeeze out the garlic (optional), chop the herbs, salt and pepper to taste, add flour (about 2 tablespoons). Mix everything well.
  4. From the resulting mass with wet hands, form a “bun” of the desired size. Roll the “balls” in flour.
  5. Let the “balls” stand for a while, and we will prepare the gravy.
  6. You can make tomato sauce in your own way, in a different way. Or you can make any other gravy. I make it very simple – tomato. For tomato gravy, I mix tomato paste and hot boiled water in a bowl. I add a little salt and a pinch of sugar.
  7. Now you need to put a frying pan (or saucepan) on the fire and pour vegetable oil. As soon as the oil warms up well, put the “balls” in the pan and flatten them a little, giving the shape of chops.
  8. Fry the balls on both sides until golden brown. Then gently pour over the tomato sauce. After a few minutes, reduce the heat to a minimum, cover the pan with a lid and let it stand for a couple of minutes. Ready.
