Cold Drink “Hibiscus” Recipe
Hibiscus – this drink is very popular in Egypt, Mexico, Lebanon, Africa. This drink with a slightly sour taste is so magical – in hot form it increases the pressure, and in cold form it lowers!!! This is a very healthy drink – read about hibiscus and you will be pleasantly surprised! I have tried many variations of this drink, but most of all I like it in the company of berries, fruits, with a slight mint flavor and a delicate aftertaste of ginger. Try it, you’ll like it!

  1. Wash the hibiscus flowers and put them in boiling water, add mint leaves and fresh ginger root (previously peeled), cover, after 10 minutes remove the mint and ginger, cover and leave for another 10 minutes. You can add more water.
  2. Strain the broth and sweeten to your liking. After straining the leaves together with cool water, whisk well in a blender and strain the drink.
  3. Pour the strained drink into the broth and mix again to taste. Cool well.
  4. Prepare berries, fruits that you love.
  5. Put fruits and berries in the glasses, the amount is to taste, but do not regret, the taste will be richer, pour the drink and put ice. A real treat!
  6. Ready!
