Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Put soft butter in a bowl and add salt.
Add sugar, beat with a mixer until smooth.
Beat the egg, beat it again.
Add flour, mix until a not very sticky dough is obtained. Flour may need more, depending on its density and the size of the egg. You can add more flour if the dough turns sticky.

Sprinkle the table liberally with flour. Roll out the dough about 3-5 mm thick, no more.
Cut the glass into circles with a diameter of about 5 cm .
We spread the cookies on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Brush them with egg yolk.
