My family loves this piece of summer in winter. Currants can be replaced with frozen cherries or blueberries. The recipe is especially useful for those who observe fasting during the New Year holidays.

Instructions
  1. First of all, prepare the dough. I use a food processor to help. Chop the flour and margarine with a knife in a food processor. If you don’t have a fast, use butter.
  2. Add ice water and chop again with a knife. Assemble into a ball and put in the freezer for 10 minutes.
  3. Roasted nuts are also crushed using a combine.
  4. Pour boiling water over the currants. Spread out on a paper towel to dry.
  5. Mix currants with powdered sugar, nuts and semolina.
  6. Roll out the dough into a layer, lay out the dough, prick with a fork, lay out the filling. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes at 180gr., until the dough is browned. Everyone has different ovens, make sure that the berries do not crack. If they start to burst, turn down the gas.
  7. Bon appetit.
