Fish with Cheese and Mushroom Sauce Recipe
The dish can be prepared from almost any sea fish: cod, hake, pollock, sea bass; from freshwater pike, tilapia, pangasius are suitable. The fish in our stores is almost always frozen, and it is difficult to vouch for its taste, but the velvety aromatic sauce under which the fish is baked will correct all the shortcomings of its taste. Amazingly delicious casserole!

Instructions
  1. Our ingredients for casserole. I have a fully thawed cod fillet.
  2. Finely chop the onion, grate the cheese on a medium grater, cut the mushrooms into plates.
  3. Cut the fillets and put them in a mold in one layer. Add salt to taste. Postpone. Turn on the oven so that it warms up to 200 degrees Celsius.
  4. Fry the onion in butter until soft.
  5. Add the mushrooms to the onion, add salt and simmer, stirring occasionally, almost until the mushroom juice has completely evaporated.
  6. Add flour, stir and fry for 1 minute.
  7. Pour in the milk, bring to a boil, reduce the heat to a minimum and cook until thickened.
  8. Remove from the heat, add 2/3 of the grated cheese and knead well. Spread the sauce on the fish, sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Put it in the oven.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Arrange on plates and sprinkle with herbs.
