Potato Pumpkin Pie with Cheese Recipe

A pie, the dough of which is made from mashed potatoes and pumpkin. The layer of the pie is curd cheese. Served a pie with fried onions and cracklings.

Ingredients

For puree:

2pieces Potato
200gram Pumpkin
20gram Butter
Salt

For dough:

5tablespoons Vegetable puree
5tablespoons Flour wheat / Flour
1piece Chicken egg
1piece Thyme
1piece Basil
1tablespoon Olive oil
0,5tablespoon Salt

Additionally:

70gram Cottage cheese
1tablespoon Olive oil

For fat:

50gram Fat
1piece Onion

Instructions

Mashed potatoes should be boiled in salted water in advance, mash and season with butter or olive oil to cool completely.
Making the dough. Take 5 tablespoons of mashed potatoes. Puree in a spoon is taken with a slide (see photo). We break the egg, connect. Add 5 tablespoons of flour. Spoons of flour are also taken with a slide. Knead the dough with a silicone spatula. Salt to taste. Add 1 tbsp of olive oil, thyme and basil pinch each. The dough is sticky. Grease the mold with 0.5 tbsp of oil and leave another 0.5 tbsp to grease the top before baking.
We spread half of the dough into a mold, level it. Next, make a layer of curd cheese with ham and herbs. Then – the second half of the dough, grease the top with a brush with oil. We put in the oven, set t-180 C for 40 minutes. While the pie is in the oven, we make cracklings with onions. Lard needs to be cut into small cubes, placed in a pan or saucepan and melted. Fry the onions in melted bacon and make golden cracklings.
We take out the pie from the oven and put the greaves with onions on top, pour over the melted bacon. The hot cake will quickly absorb everything. We serve immediately. We’re eating. The pie tastes like potato dumplings with cracklings. Very tasty!
