I love vanilla.. when it’s bad weather outside, I cook my favorite rice pudding, which my mother-in-law taught me to cook) all children eat with pleasure, and adults too!

  1. Boil 2 tablespoons of rice in water to make the rice boil. Pour the milk into a saucepan, add the boiled rice, sugar and bring to a boil.
  2. Starch, vanilla sugar, mix with a small amount of milk and add the yolk to the mixture. If you like thick pudding, feel free to add 3 tablespoons of starch (I often do this).
  3. Pour a few spoonfuls of hot milk into the starch mixture, mix thoroughly and only then pour the whole mixture into the milk. Stir and cook for about 10 minutes. When the mass thickens, remove from heat.
  4. Pour into heat-resistant molds. When I didn’t have any molds, I baked syutlach in a large glass mold – it turned out no less delicious 🙂 we put it on a baking sheet with water (we make a water bath) and in the oven at 200 C until golden brown, it’s about 30 minutes.
  5. We take our dessert out of the oven and sprinkle with chopped nuts and cinnamon. Cool. In the turkey, cool at room temperature, and then put in the refrigerator for an hour and serve cold. but I like it when the dessert is cooled only at room temperature – it takes about 2 hours)
