Sweet Curd Buns “Flowers” Recipe
Sweet cottage cheese buns “Flowers” – amazing baking! It is very tasty, tender, soft, airy, with hints of orange. Its secret is simple-dough based on cottage cheese. This pastry is perfect not only for traditional coffee or tea, which we are all so used to, but also for lemonade, cocoa, mors, juice.

  1. First, prepare the sourdough and activate the yeast. Add 1 tbsp of sugar, salt and dry yeast to the warm milk. Stir and leave in the heat for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Beat two eggs with butter.
  3. Add sourdough, cottage cheese (200 g), salt, sugar (80 g), orange zest. Beat with a mixer.
  4. Add the sifted flour and knead the dough. Add vegetable oil.
  5. Knead the smooth dough for 10-15 minutes and remove to a warm place for 1-1.5 hours.
  6. During this time, the dough should increase 2-3 times.
  7. For the filling, mix the cottage cheese (400 g), raisins and sugar (50 g) in a bowl.
  8. Divide our dough into 4 parts. Roll each part into a square. You can trim the edges to make an even square.
  9. Next, divide our square into 4 even squares. Make incisions in each square as shown in the photo.
  10. Put the curd filling in the center. Two edges should be fastened together.
  11. Then fasten the second two edges. You will get a flower, as in the photo. The rest of the flowers are made using the specified technology. Cover the baking sheet with a silicone Mat. Lay out the buns. Leave for 10-15 minutes. Coat with the egg. Put in the oven and bake at 185 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
  12. Transfer the cooled rolls to a plate and serve! Bon appetit!
