  1. We will prepare the necessary products. Potatoes and beets will be baked in the oven. Boil the carrots. Wash the greens.

  6. Grate the potatoes on a coarse grater.
  7. Grate the eggs on a medium grater.
  8. Put all the filling products: potatoes, eggs, mackerel, onions, dill in a bowl.
  9. Prepare a dressing of 1 tbsp mustard and 2 tbsp mayonnaise.
  10. Add to the bowl with the filling.
  11. Mix well, the mass should be suitable for modeling balls from it. It should not be liquid, but such that when compressed into a ball, it just does not crumble. The liquid mass will not keep its shape, it will float. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  13. Grate the carrots and beets on a medium grater. Wash the greens. If the beetroot is juicy, squeeze it from the juice, remove excess moisture.
