I suggest another baking recipe with coconut filling. Cherries can be replaced with dried cranberries or candied fruits. Sweet vanilla roll is perfect for both a festive table and everyday.
I just want to say that I made 2 servings. Pour warm milk into a bowl, add yolks, sugar, salt.
Use a whisk to mix the ingredients.
Sift flour into a bowl, add yeast and vanilla sugar, mix them with flour.
Then add butter at room temperature or melted in a bowl.
I knead the dough, cover it with a film and let it rise.
Then prepare the filling. Pour the coconut chips with boiling milk, stir until the milk is absorbed. Add sugar.
Mix the filling well again.
When the dough increases in volume by 2-3 times, knead it and put it on the desktop.
Only after that, prepare the filling – whisk the whites to peaks, gently combine them with the coconut filling.
Divide the dough into 2 equal parts. We roll out each piece into a rectangle.
Spread 1/2 part of the filling on the dough, distribute it, sprinkle 1/2 part of the dried cherries.
I roll out the dough with a roll with stuffing, pinch the edges.
I use 2 different shapes to bake the roll. One is in the form of a flower when cutting the finished baking.
I lubricate the molds with vegetable oil. We spread it out in the form of rolls.
The second shape I used is a cake mold, measuring 24.5*9.5 cm. We pierce the rolls with a toothpick so that excess air comes out.
Cover the molds with a film and let the rolls increase in volume by about 1/3. Grease the top of the roll in the form of a cake with yolk.
Bake the rolls in a preheated 180 degree oven for about 50-60 minutes. the readiness of the roll is determined using a toothpick. I take the rolls out of the mold.
