Canapes with Shrimp and Garlic Sauce Recipe
While the guests are gathering, until everyone has sat down at the table on New Year’s Eve, you can prepare a small aperitif table with light drinks and canapes. Offer to make a canapé with cocktail shrimps for an appetizer, which are ideal for light wine, champagne or vermouth.

  1. For the sauce, mix mayonnaise, soy sauce, chopped dill, crushed garlic and grainy mustard.
  2. The sauce should be allowed to infuse for about 1 hour in the refrigerator, then it will taste better.
  3. For the canapé, finely chop the red bell pepper.
  4. Mix the fully thawed shrimp with chopped bell pepper, lightly salt and season with lemon juice.
  5. Cut the cucumber into slices.
  6. Cut the bread into small squares and dry them in a frying pan without oil. Drop a little sauce on each square of bread.
  7. Put lettuce leaves on top, torn into small pieces, and a circle of cucumber. Put the shrimp with bell pepper on top and sprinkle the shrimp with a little more sauce.
