Cheese Bread with Mushrooms Recipe
Dear chefs, I offer you a BOMB!! The combination of products – you’ll lick your fingers. But in addition to taste, a huge role is played by the presentation, which is very, very original. This bread will become a real decoration of the festive table and will serve as an excellent snack and addition to salads, soups and hot dishes. You can cook for 1-2 days or just before the feast. Come -you won’t regret it!

  1. So – mushrooms. We wash them, finely chop them, evaporate and fry them a little, adding a tablespoon of butter if necessary.
  2. Cheese… I took Gruyere – and it was divine!! However, I had to add a little of the usual, and so it turned out … If you use ordinary hard cheese without pronounced piquancy, I recommend adding a little pepper, any spices or cheese with noble mold. So, the cheese should be cut into small plates.
  3. Cut the butter finely, as well as the onion. The recipe suggests taking 0.5 cups of melted butter, you can do just that.
  4. Now take the bread. Some fresh, delicious bread… And carefully cut into squares, a little before reaching the end. Then sprinkle with chopped onion and thyme leaves, carefully lay out the mushrooms…
  5. … put the pieces of butter and slices of cheese. If you take ghee, mix it with onion and thyme and pour over the bread. By the way, without skill, some pieces of bread will strive to fall out, don’t worry! Do not hesitate, but gently push them back, the cheese will stick together)) We leave it to bake…
  6. Bake bread at a temperature of 180 degrees. First, wrap it in foil (at this stage, you can safely put it in the refrigerator for 1-2 days!!) and let it bake for 15 minutes, then carefully turn it over and let it cook for about 10 more minutes, this is necessary for the cheese to melt and the bread to brown. It took me another 5 minutes when the temperature rose to 200 degrees. After baking, quickly transfer the hot stuffed roll to a plate or board and serve!
