Good afternoon, dear chefs!! Today I propose to cook meatballs in a spicy tomato sauce based on the famous Italian Marinara sauce under a cheese cap… It turns out a delicious harmonious dish!!
Pass the pork through a meat grinder with 2 onions. Add 2 tbsp sour cream, 3 tbsp breadcrumbs with a slide, salt, pepper to taste.
Knead the minced meat thoroughly and leave for 15 minutes.
Cut one onion and three garlic cloves into small cubes.
Make cross-shaped incisions on tomatoes. Pour boiling water for 2-3 minutes, rinse with cold water. Remove the skin, cut into cubes.
Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a frying pan. Fry the onion and garlic until soft for 3-5 minutes.
Add tomatoes, fry over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring.
Chop the basil leaves. Add tomato paste, dry and fresh basil, salt, 1 tsp sugar to the vegetables, mix. Cover and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
From minced meat, form balls the size of a walnut, fry on both sides.
Put 1/3 of the tomato sauce in a heat-resistant mold, then the meatballs and pour the remaining sauce on top. We send it to bake in the oven for 20 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees.
Grate the mozzarella on a grater or cut into pieces. Put the finished meatballs on top, put them in the oven for 2 minutes.
