Pie with Mozzarella and Garlic Butter Recipe

  1. Add dry yeast to the sifted flour (460 g) and mix.
  2. Melt butter and add milk, salt, sugar and egg beaten with a fork.
  3. Mix the liquid mixture with the flour for 3 passes.
  4. Then put the dough on a cutting board and add 1 tablespoon of the remaining flour (20 g).
  5. You will get a soft dough that does not stick to your hands, assemble it into a bun.
  6. Put the dough in a greased with vegetable oil (0.5 tbsp. l.) bowl. Cover the bowl with a film and put it in a warm place so that the dough rises 2.5 times.
  7. Prepare garlic oil. Add the squeezed garlic to the melted butter (40 g) and mix.
  8. Cut the mozzarella into long thin slices.
  9. Knead the dough abenaim. Cover the baking sheet with baking paper or, like me, with a silicone mat, do not lubricate with oil.
  10. Put the dough on paper and roll out into a 1 cm thick circle. With a sharp knife, make the slots vertically, the distance between the strips is 4 cm. Cut into strips not to the end of the circle.
  11. Then cut the strips horizontally. Cover the dough with a film or a transparent bag so that it does not crack, and leave for 20 minutes.
  12. Then brush the dough generously with garlic butter.
  13. Make small incisions with a teaspoon and lay out the pieces of cheese.
  14. Let the dough dissolve a little, keep warm for 20 minutes and bake the cake at t 180 C until golden brown (30 minutes).
  15. Then grease the pie with beaten egg yolk and bake in the oven for 5 minutes until golden brown.
