What can a woman cook from potatoes, carrots, onions and meat? I am sure you will answer this question without hesitation, because each of us probably prepares such combinations once a week. But the Chinese hostess will prepare a surprisingly delicious salad from these banal products in 15 minutes, which translates from Chinese as “Black Dragon”. And I assure you, you will be surprised by its excellent taste, completely different from what we are used to cooking from such a set of products!

  1. We put rice bags in boiled salted water, it’s not only beautiful, but also very tasty, and it takes only 15 minutes to cook. We will try to meet the same time when preparing the salad.
  2. The secret to the lightning-fast cooking of this dish is the extremely thin slicing of all the salad ingredients. For vegetables, I used a Berner grater (you can use a grater to cook Korean carrots), but the meat had to be cut by hand, but since it is only 100 grams, it did not cause difficulties. So, the potatoes cut into thin slices are lowered into boiling water for 10 seconds, and then we throw them into a colander to drain all the water. This manipulation will get rid of excess starch and will not allow potatoes to stick together when frying.
  3. Cut the carrots into cubes using the same grater, thinly slice the onion along the plates, and chop the garlic.
  4. Thinly slice the meat into cubes or plates. To make this easy, the meat should be lightly frozen in the freezer for about half an hour or an hour (depending on the capacity of your refrigerator).
  5. Heat a little olive oil in a wok over high heat and fry the meat for 20 seconds. The oil should boil strongly, then the meat will cook instantly!
  6. Add onions, carrots and potatoes.
  7. Then red pepper, garlic, vinegar, sugar, sesame and soy sauce. All this should be fried after the meat for another 10 seconds. In total, our salad should be cooked in just 30 seconds! Vegetables remain crispy, but not raw, because potatoes have undergone additional heat treatment in boiling water, and other products do not need processing. Thanks to the thin slicing, the meat has time to cook in 30 seconds, but if such a short processing confuses you, you can increase the time to 1-2 minutes. In any case, before removing the wok from the fire, try the products for readiness, as your slicing may differ from mine, and the potatoes may be too raw.
  8. It remains only to spread the rice into bags, let the water drain and release from the packaging.
