Instructions
  1. To prepare the poppy filling, rinse the seeds, fill with water, boil and drain. Fill the poppy seeds with water again, cook for 20 minutes until the grains are soft, and rub them through a sieve. Chop the poppy seeds with sugar (to taste) with a blender, put them in a saucepan, add honey (optional), dry until the liquid evaporates over low heat, the filling should turn out crumbly, without excess moisture. Wash the prunes, dry them and cut them into cubes. Mix 100 g of ready-made poppies and 100 g of chopped prunes, mix. To prepare the filling from dried apricots, pre-wash the fruit, dry it, cut into small cubes. Dried cherries should also be washed, dried, combined with chopped dried apricots and cherries, mixed.
  2. To prepare the dough, sift wheat flour with baking powder and mix. Rub cold butter into crumbs with flour. Beat the egg with a whisk with sugar and milk. Mix the liquid and dry ingredients, knead the dough quickly, cover with cling film and send it to the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.
  3. In the bowl of a blender, mix cottage cheese, sugar (you can increase the taste), vanilla sugar, semolina, eggs. Everything is “punched” to a pasty state.
  4. Divide the dough into 2 equal parts, roll out according to the size of the bottom of the bowl of a slow cooker or baking dish (d = no more than 20 cm).
  5. Lubricate the bowl of the slow cooker with butter, sprinkle with sweet breadcrumbs. Place double strips of criss-cross baking paper on the bottom of the mold. Put a layer of dough on the bottom, then half of the curd filling, a layer of poppy-prune filling. Then lay out the second layer of dough, on it the remaining half of the curd filling, a layer of dried apricots and dried cherries.
  6. I used a slow cooker to bake the cake. Turn on the “Baking” mode in the slow cooker, at the end of the program – check the pie for readiness, in my case, additional baking was required on the “Slow Cooker” program for 15 minutes at 135*With or continue baking on the Baking program. Remove the bowl from the slow cooker, put the pie on the remaining strips of paper on the dish, let it cool down a little!
  7. Bon Appetit!
