  1. Take rice for sushi. Similar to this. Rice needs to be prepared. Pour the rice into a large bowl. Fill the rice with a large amount of purified (boiled, potable) water and mix quickly with a wooden spatula. Pour some more water. If the water is still cloudy this time, repeat the rice washing procedure until the water becomes clear. Discard the washed rice in a colander, drain all the water completely, and then soak it in cold water for 20-60 minutes. After that, put the rice back in a colander and let it dry (20 minutes). This is necessary so that the grains absorb moisture and swell. Don’t forget to cook the rice in advance. Half an hour should pass between drying and cooking, then the result will be as close to ideal as possible.
  2. The most important thing in sushi is rice. If the rice is cooked correctly, it can be considered that it is ready. The filling for sushi should be prepared in this way – the solid ingredients should be cut into strips along the length of the nori. I took cream cheese, salmon and cucumber.
  3. The filling for sushi should be prepared in this way – the solid ingredients should be cut into strips along the length of the nori. I took cream cheese, salmon and cucumber.
  4. Now you can start making rolls. On a sushi mat (makisu), put a plastic wrap over a sheet of nori. Put a thin layer of rice on it. To make it easier to do this, you need to moisten your hands with water. A thin strip of wasabi should be placed on top of the rice in the center or from one edge. Lay out the filling – cucumber, cheese, salmon.
  5. Gently roll out the sausage using a mat.
  6. So the sausages are ready. It is best to let them rest for about 5-7 minutes, then it will be easier to cut them. You need to cut with the sharpest knife. Usually 1 sausage is cut into 6 parts.
  7. I still had rice left, and the filling wasn’t enough, so I decided to make opposite rolls with caviar.
  8. They wrap rice on the outside and nori on the inside. Well, everything is ready. Rolls are served with soy sauce, ginger and wasabi.
