My grandmother was a master of cooking okroshka. Not only relatives, but the whole village gathered for her okroshka.

  1. This okroshka goes well with baked beets – it is especially sweet. In the conditions of a city apartment and hot weather, beets are boiled.
  2. Cut the apple into cubes.
  3. Grate a third of the beetroot, and cut the rest into cubes.
  4. Pour the kvass into a saucepan.
  5. Put crushed apple, beetroot and thyme in the sourdough. Table seasoning of grated horseradish. Our okroshka is ready! It remains to mix and serve with sour cream.
