Onion Pancakes with Sausage and Cheese Filling Recipe
Pancakes, for which an onion of finely chopped onion is added to the dough. When you fry these pancakes, the house becomes so fragrant! For those who have not tried these pancakes yet, I just advise! Today I will prepare for them a filling of doctor’s sausage with cottage cheese. I will prepare a snack for the New Year’s table and just like that: breakfast, dinner… a snack. There will be enough toppings for each pancake. It’s very tasty and fast!

Instructions
  1. I use a food processor to prepare the dough. Before kneading the pancake batter, I chop the onion very finely with a food processor for 15 seconds.
  2. Add milk, water, sugar, salt, baking powder, egg, butter and beat the mass for another 15 seconds, changing the nozzle.
  3. Pour in the sifted flour and knead the dough for another 20 seconds.
  4. The pancake batter is ready.
  5. Bake pancakes. We’ll need thin pancakes. I took a pancake mold D-24 cm. We warm it up and lubricate it with oil to bake the first pancake. Then do not lubricate the oil present in the dough. Since the bowl is at the combine with a spout, I did not pour the dough into another bowl. It is very convenient to pour the dough from it into the mold, tilting it and pouring the dough around the circumference of the entire mold, in a thin layer. When the pancake grabs and acquires a beautiful color on one side…
  6. .. turn it over easily and fry until tender. This happens very quickly. And what a flavor from baking these pancakes!!! I just wanted to eat right away!
  7. Baked pancakes are stacked “upside down”. I’ll smear them with sausage and cottage cheese filling. From this amount of dough I got 8 pieces of thin pancakes D-24 cm.
  8. I will also prepare the filling with a food processor in just 20 seconds. Put the sausage, cottage cheese, sour cream and mustard in the bowl of a blender and mix. If these pancakes will be eaten by children, then you do not need to put mustard.
  9. After spending quite a bit of time, we have both the pancakes and the filling ready.
  10. Brush with the pancake filling.
  11. Twist the roll.
  12. This is my New Year’s snack, which I serve on a plate in the form of a Christmas tree. Cut the rolls so that they fit nicely on a plate. I also completely missed the remaining pancakes and rolled them “into a roll” – an excellent serving for breakfast, afternoon tea… etc…
  13. A festive supply of Christmas trees has been issued. On top of the pancakes, we randomly spread cottage cheese (like a snowball). This is done so that finely chopped dill (Christmas tree needles) is fixed on the pancakes. Here is such a beautiful presentation and of course – a snack!
