Pie with Mackerel, Spinach and Cottage Cheese Recipe
I saw a picture of this cake in a women’s magazine and couldn’t resist making it! There were some changes and additions on my part, but the result pleased me! I suggest you try an open pie with oatmeal, tender dough and a filling of baked mackerel, spinach and cottage cheese!

Instructions
  1. Dough: Grind the oat flakes with a blender. In a bowl, mix the pieces of butter, crushed oat flakes, flour and a pinch of salt. Start kneading the dough with your hands.
  2. Pour 1-1. 5 tablespoons of cold water and roll the dough into a ball.
  3. The dough does not stick to your hands, it is soft.
  4. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1-1.5 hours.
  5. Completion: Season the mackerel with salt and black pepper, wrap in foil and bake in the oven until cooked.
  6. Disassemble the fish into pieces by removing the bones.
  7. Prepare the spinach (frozen, pre-thawed is used).
  8. Filling: Mix milk and eggs in a bowl, add a pinch of salt and beat thoroughly with a fork.
  9. Roll out the cooled dough into a layer on a surface sprinkled with flour.
  10. Transfer the dough to the mold, form the sides of the cake. We send it to bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 15 minutes.

  12. Then spinach and cottage cheese.
  13. Spread the filling evenly over the entire surface of the cake. Put the pie back in the oven and bake for another 35 minutes (we focus on the golden edges and top of the pie).
  14. Remove the finished pie from the oven and let it cool.t
  15. Enjoy your meal!
