A very interesting combination of apple jam and kiwi. The puffs were delicious. My whole family appreciated this dish and asked me to cook it more often.
To prepare strudel, we will need puff pastry. You can cook it yourself or use a ready-made purchase. I chose another one, so I left it in the room for 30 minutes to defrost.
For the filling, take kiwi, sliced, and apple jam (you can choose another one to your taste).
Cut the dough into rectangles and spread kiwi on the dough first, then jam.
Connect the opposite sides of the rectangle. Then connect its lower and upper parts.
Turn the resulting rectangle over and make three incisions.
That’s what kind of strudel we have.
Separate the yolk from the egg white. We will need it to lubricate the top of the strudel.
Place the puff strudels on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper in advance. Brush them with yolk on top. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees (about 5 minutes). Place a baking tray with strudels in the oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, until the strudels turn golden.
