  1. One day I saw this idea on one of the sites. They wrote that when soda is added to honey, mixed and left, for example, overnight, honey will extinguish the soda in the foam itself. And so any honey cake will be softer. That’s exactly what I did. Mix honey and soda, leave overnight.
  2. In the morning I saw honey-soda foam. Okay, let’s move on to the test.
  3. I added sugar and fat to the honey-soda foam. Boil on low heat until caramel color. Everything foams just as well as when adding soda in the usual way. Remove from the heat.
  4. I boiled the pumpkin until soft and squeezed it well from excess liquid. Then she kneaded it with a fork. Pumpkin can be baked in the oven.
  5. Add the pumpkin to the honey mixture and mix well. We also introduce eggs, I beat them with a fork for convenience, and then add them. Also add lemon juice. Stir until smooth.
  6. Enter the flour.
  7. And knead the dough. It must be very sticky. You can leave it if you don’t have time, or you can bake it right away.
  8. I cover the form with parchment and put all the dough on it at once. And then with wet hands, which we gradually moisten in water, knead the dough on a baking sheet. The size of the baking sheet is 35*30 cm.
  9. Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly.
  10. Then I trim the edges and cut into 4 equal parts.
  11. The cakes are greased with boiled condensed milk and decorated with walnuts on top.
  12. The cake is left overnight for impregnation. And in the morning we had a delicious cake. My husband and I ate this piece in half and ate well, as the pie turned out to be satisfying. And yet it’s incredibly delicious. I have repeatedly written that whole-grain flour perfectly harmonizes with honey. And the pumpkin fit perfectly.
